They’re looking for a Senior Manager, Trading Audit & Risk who’ll be a pillar of their governance functions and representative for them when working heavily across all their front office trading departments.
The Role
Based in Zurich, the Senior Manager, Risk & Audit will focus on Trading Operations across the business and will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of operational and compliance audits on trading operations including planning, fieldwork and reporting
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-focused audit plans that identify and address potential operational and compliance risk areas arising from trading operations.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control environment and identify areas for control enhancements
- Preparation of (draft) of audit reports in clear and concise format
- Monitoring of the implementation of audit recommendations and action closure with auditees
- Managing on-time execution with support of junior resources
- Training and mentoring of junior risk staff
- Profound understanding of commodities trading industry
- Professional experience in an internal audit or risk functions or similar of 8 years with focus on commodities trading industry
- Proven track records of designing and managing commodities trading audit engagements covering the core risks areas such as Compliance, Market and Credit risk areas
- Sound knowledge of audit and risk/control procedures, techniques and test / sampling methods
- Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and draws conclusions
