A high-growth multinational digital Healthcare business are currently seeking a new Head of Legal to manage their legal operations in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. As the world’s largest healthcare platform, each month, they connect over 24 million patients with 280,000 doctors across 13 countries. Their marketplaces, SaaS and AI tools simplify daily tasks and help doctors, clinics and hospitals work more efficiently, so they can focus on what really matters: caring for their patients.
Reporting directly to the International Legal Director, this is a critical role managing legal & Privacy across parts of LATAM which will include a broad range of work (Commercial, Corporate, Regulatory, Employment law etc.) The role also includes direct line management of a junior lawyer also based in Mexico City.

What’s on offer?
This role has significant oversight from day one, overseeing the legal function for the Mexican market, as well as the smaller but growing operations in Colombia and Argentina. You will report directly into the Legal Director and Global Head of Privacy, with a dotted line and close working relationship with the Mexico Country Manager. You will also have the chance to be part of a multidisciplinary group of more than 20 talented legal professionals.
A fully comprehensive compensation package, with flexibility in your work environment, is available for this role which will include a progressive bonus (starting at one months salary, based on personal and company performance and building over time), significant equity opportunity as well as the usual insurances, private healthcare etc. and a monthly salary of 83,300 - 100,000 MXN DOE.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will need to take ownership of legal in their key growth markets as well as drive local implementation of global processes, manage compliance and litigation, support commercial growth, and streamline legal operations with a risk-based, tech-savvy approach. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and own key relationships while managing the legal budget.
For guidance purposes only, you are likely to have at least 7+ years of post-qualified experience gained in a law firm or in-house (tech and or high growth company experience a plus), having focussed on some of the following areas (ideally in a broad, generalist role): commercial law, digital regulations, intellectual property, data protection, healthcare sector regulation.
Above all, this company is dynamic and fast paced requires a candidate with a readiness to adapt to the challenges of a fast-growth environment and contribute to the overall strategy while being able to make quick decisions with good business and pragmatic judgment (balancing both legal and commercial aspects).
The role requires you to be entitled to work and practice law in Mexico while being based in Mexico City as well as possessing the ability to work and communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both written and oral (please therefore submit an English version of your resume when applying for this role).
