Grants Manager
Location: London (preferred) | Bristol or South Wales considered
Salary: from £55,000, depending on experience
About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Grants Manager who understands the UK and/or EU grants landscape and enjoys blending strategic funding expertise with proactive business development. This role suits someone who thrives on both the technical and relationship-building sides of grant advisory work - someone who can spot opportunities, build connections, and help clients unlock innovation funding.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end delivery of grant funding projects across UK and EU schemes.

Identify and pursue new grant opportunities for both new and existing clients.

Drive business growth through proactive outreach, campaigns, and relationship development.

Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored funding strategies for clients across a range of sectors.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key UK and EU grant programmes, funding trends, and policy developments.

Manage client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.

Support the wider team in shaping and improving grant processes and best practices.
What We’re Looking For

Strong understanding of the UK and/or EU grants landscape, including Innovate UK, Horizon Europe, or similar schemes.

Proven experience in writing or managing successful grant applications.

A commercial mindset with the confidence to lead outreach campaigns and generate new business.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ideally based in London, though candidates in Bristol or South Wales will also be considered.
