- Experience with Free Trade Agreements including USMCA, KRUS, AUSUS, IRUS

- BA/BS with 2-3 years related import/export operational and compliance experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in overall management of The Company’s imports /exports to ensure compliance with all applicable US and Canadian Customs laws and regulations
- Liaison with local Customs brokers as needed to facilitate the movement of goods
Daily
- Research and respond to all inquires from the US & Canadian customs broker
- Monitor the broker and import shipments for exceptions for the US, Canada and Mexico
- Resolve all exceptions with US, Canadian Customs clearance for the timely movement of the goods
- File the EEI’s for The Company's exports utilizing ACE
- Determine Harmonized Tariff Number (HTS) for imports into US and Canada
- Manage the global The Company's product dictionary to include HTS and ECCN
- Review and confirm – sales orders with holds for export controls
Weekly
- Upload all global customers into Denied Party Tool and review any potential matches against Global Denied parties lists
- Perform post entry audit to ensure the The Company’s product is entered in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations for the US and Canada
- Work with broker and prepare corrective actions if necessary
Monthly/Quarterly
- Review the ACH statement and ensure proper duty is being paid
- Support broker KPI and summary of corrective actions if necessary
- Attend the Quarterly meetings with the broker
- Prepare internal monthly Customs reports
- Audit the entries to the payment records to ensure the payments match the entered value
Yearly
- Review and update the vendor shipping instructions
- Review and update the US and Canadian Customs brokers SOP
- Support the product certification of goods produced in Mexico for The Company's under USMCA
- Participate and support projects as necessary.
As Necessary
- Participate and support projects as necessary.
- Support filing of protests and PSCs for any post entry corrections for US and Canadian Customs
