Leonid has been retained by a German Innovation Funding Consultancy to find their next Senior Consulting Manager. The goal: take your whole team together with you to the next level and become the place to work! Yep, it does sound like a challenge but stay with us until the end 😉
Context & Responsabilities
They are a young company with already more than 1M profit this year and are looking for an innovation funding professional experienced both in project and team management.
You will be working hand in hand with the founder (and his 9+ years of knowledge of R&D tax) and support him on the daily operations. Yous missions will be :
- 50/60% of delivery – You will take on your own client portfolio (from startups to SMEs and bigger corporations throughout Germany), advising them on their innovative projects and helping them apply for the Forschungszulage scheme.
- 20/25% on proper coaching – you will help your team members (4 consultants as of today) grow, learn and gain confidence.
- The rest is on HR management, administration – and everything else that comes with the job (promise, it does not have to be boring!).
Who are they looking for?
- Someone with a completed degree in engineering or natural sciences - preferably interdisciplinary studies such as energy/environmental technologies, process engineering, industrial engineering, or IT sciences.
- A Doctor is welcome but it’s not a prerequisite to have a PhD.
- An experienced manager: You already have coached/managed one or more consultants; the innovation funding industry is something you master in.
- A native German speaker!
- A leader, loyal with a growth mindset who wants to be part of something bigger and not only in because of the money...
