A successful search for an R&D tax specialist on behalf of Fiscal Incentives Group
The Situation
Fiscal Incentives Group, a boutique tax incentives consultancy based in Birmingham, UK, was looking for a R&D Tax specialist to play a key role in their growing team. This was an on-site role, to be based in Central Birmingham.
The Challenge
Fiscal Incentives Group had previously had limited success with other recruiters.
Fiscal Incentives Group is a small but well-established business. R&D tax specialists are relatively risk adverse and tend to favour larger organisations because of the perceived increase in opportunities and lower risk factors. In reality, boutique firms can offer many benefits at every career stage, and Leonid was appointed to work in partnership with the client and act as a brand ambassador, while searching for their perfect candidate.
Results
Leonid reached out to its extensive candidate network and presented three suitably qualified candidates to Fiscal Incentives Group with short video interviews, using Leonid’s LeonidLive platform. The client was then able to move quickly through the interview stages and had a start date from their chosen candidate all within the agreed ‘Magic Month’ timeframe.
